Quinn Lanigan helped Bulldogs to an 11-0 victory over East Providence by tossing a one-hitter and breaking the game open with a two-run triple.

Over the past two years, East Greenwich (2017) and Narragansett (2018) have won Rhode Island Connie Mack State Championships.

If there is any indication of what the second game will be like, the EG Avengers and Narragansett Lions, combined for 25 hits and battled for 16 innings in a 4-3 walk-off win by the Lions.


In the league opener against Tiverton, West Warwick held on to a 7-4 win.

In a game where both teams combined for 20 walks (Tiverton-9 & West Warwick-11), West Warwick was able to manage more timely hits to secure the victory.

Flood Ford Auto defeated LaSalle, 5-3, in the league opener for both teams.
